B. Hanoi – (Dien Bien Bus Station) – Tay Trang Border Gate – Luang Namtha.

1. Pick you up at hotels/motels in Hanoi Old Quarter area from 3.00pm - 3.20pm. Pick up at Lao embassy at 3.30pm. Pick you up early to avoid traffic jams that affect your schedule.
2. Mr. Hung who pick you up – We will provide a photo of Mr. Hung so guests can easily recognize him.
He will arrange a mini bus/taxi to take you to the bus company office. (About 7km from Hanoi Old Quarter)
3. Ticket price: 1,550,000 VND/person (pay to Mr. Hung - who picks you up). (Transfer bus from Hanoi Old Quarter to the bus office is included)
4. Bus type: Double cabin bed without toilet inside bus
5. Bus departure time: 5.45pm - 6.00pm
6. The bus arrives at Tay Trang border gate at 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM. Then preparing to exit Vietnam and enter Laos.
7. Bus time to Luang Namtha, Laos is about 6:00PM - 6:30PM on day 2.

C. Things to note when booking a bus from Hanoi to Luang Namtha

1. For nationalities that are not eligible for Laos Visa Free, you are required to have a Laos Visa. To get a Laos Visa, you need to go to the Laos embassy - Address 40 Quang Trung Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. You should come over in the morning before 11.00am. You will receive your Laos Visa 3.00pm the same day. The Lao Embassy is closed Saturday and Sunday. (Tay Trang border gate does not accept Lao Visa on arrival (VOA) and Lao evisa. Therefore, you need to go to the Laos embassy to apply for a visa before departure)

2. On the way, the bus stops at Vietnamese/Laotian restaurants for guests to have dinner and lunch.
3. Almost all Lao buses cannot use wifi.
